You don't really know what happens at these fairs, so maybe she will explain.

She explains that once a year, we have a fair which means there are rides and games and of course all the cooks from the local area come to sell and swap their cakes. There are also competitions for the best cake but it's only a bit of fun and sometimes it gets taken a little too seriously.
