You think you've heard of Connemara. So you tell him you want to go there next year.

He exclaims that, "That's a great idea, Connemara is one of the most beautiful spots in Ireland, you can swim right out and can still see the bottom, the water is so clear. It's a bit on the chilly side though, OK it's freezing, but maybe we could meet up for a pint."

Ask what he'll be teaching.

Say hello, but say that you don't speak Gaelic!
Tell him it's a beautiful day!
Ask if he lives there or is he being paid.
Ask him if you could get him a drink!
Ask where you should go for a good walk?
Ask if there are any characters he'd recommend having a yarn with?
